From 13 to 17 October, Karina Ješkina, a researcher on the project, participated in the Pathways Autumn School, organised by Future Earth in collaboration with partner institutions, in the French Alpine village of Aussois. The event brought together participants from 22 countries, representing a variety of disciplines and research approaches.

The Pathways Autumn School aims to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and develop new research approaches, thereby contributing to changes in society and environmental sustainability. The program provided an opportunity for early-career researchers to exchange experiences, discuss the principles of transformational science, and reflect on the role of research in socio-ecological transitions.
During the week, participants participated in lectures, thematic workshops, a hike, and group discussions dedicated to topics such as inclusive research, knowledge co-creation, and sustainability practices. The event promoted dialogue between natural, social, and human sciences, emphasizing the need for collaboration and critical reflection on the impact of research on society and the environment.
We would like to thank the Future Earth and Pathways team for a professionally organized and inspiring program that promotes international collaboration among researchers in the field of sustainability.
